Robin Raise Me Up

Robin Penn

Mother of three children adopted from foster care several years ago and raised to be mature adults with a passion for helping others, a wife of 25 years, a Godmother to five children, a preschool, after school, and camp director and teacher for hundreds of youth for many years, and an adoption advocate. She volunteered to help adoption causes and speak to prospective families and her advocacy led to more than 100 families adopting children in the past 15 years. Her favorite song when thinking of adoptive families and her own family is “You Raise Me Up” as famously sung by Josh Groban and written by Rolf Løvland and Brendan Graham. Robin entered into eternal life on February 18, 2018. Her latest work was advocating to help promote adoption through film and to continue to help children

Robin Raise Me Up is a tribute project to inspire filmmakers as mentors to teach and help children to make short films about positive values they, you, and Robin believe in. Together, we can inspire youth and help our communities raise youth with values.

Gifts to Robin Raise Me Up are much appreciated. With your help, children can learn to make short films about Values such as Kindness, Love, Helping Others, Volunteering, Anti-Bullying, Teamwork, Honesty, Adoption and much more.

Robin Raise Me Up is a project of Foster Friends Films and Projects, a non-profit 501-c3 organization, and its sister project, Heart Gallery Films, under development as short documentary films featuring foster children and international children available for adoption and their stories.
